How this site is made.

The system

Built by magentaweb on its own design system: two token layers and five master dials (spacing, type scale, motion, theme, radius) drive every visual decision. This site runs the dials at dramatic spacing, stately type, gentle motion, and soft radius, light by default with the moon-sun toggle in the footer.

The faces

Fraunces carries the display voice, Karla the body and the practice data, and Parisienne signs the wordmark. All three are vendored and served from this site, no font networks involved.

The imagery

Until each panel is photographed, its image is a study: a deterministic drawing generated from the panel's own palette card at its real proportions. The photography page says plainly which frames are stand-ins.

The stack

Next.js on Vercel, statically rendered where possible. The practice numbers are seed data kept in the repository; the database arrives when the admin surfaces need it, and the publish and export pages say so honestly until then.
